We woke up around 8 in the morning on the next day which is Monday, a little tired still from our flight last night. It was Obon (Holiday) in Japan so some stores were closed and also other establishments and factories. " Obon (お盆) or just Bon (盆) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one's ancestors. This Buddhist-Confucian custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars." I got this definition of Obon from the wikepedia for us to understand better. We also have this in the Philippines, quiet similar to our all saints day and all souls day where we usually light a candle and offer a prayer to our ancestors or deceased loved ones. It was 9 in the morning when we finished preparing and went down from our room to the breakfast place of the hotel. It was our second time to stay in this place and I clearly remember last year their breakfast was totally basic. There were no rice or sausages. It was all bread, butter, juice and water. I was happily surprised that they have upgraded their breakfast menu this time. They now have rice, bacon, salad, different kinds of bread, egg, corn soup, hash brown and even curry rice. Look how pretty my breakfast was💖💖💖 Closer look cos bacon is Life 😂😂😂 After we had our breakfast, we decided to walk to the park near Osu area. It's summer so it was kinda hot and humid so we always take our umbrella with us to fight Mr. Sunshine. On the way to the park, we saw some cute restaurants. I checked the menu in case we ran out of ideas on what to eat. French restaurant After almost 20 mins of walking, we finally arrived in Osu Kannon. I actually have a favorite shop in this area. They have almost everything here, its a place where u can see lots of stalls that sells different stuff like clothes, shoes, branded bags, drugstore and they have a local grocery market here with low costs. I usually go to that market every time I wanna buy chocolates to bring home to my family in the Philippines. You can also find big camera shops and you'll never get hungry cos there are food stalls everywhere. Osu Kannon food stalls everywhere My favorite shop sells super stylish clothes esp for winter and their prices were unbeatable. I scored alot of cute coats from them for less than ¥2,000 yen which is very good and I even got a super stylish one for just ¥500, also some summer tops for just ¥100. I forgot to take a pic of the shop cos it was still kinda early when we got there and most of the shop were still closed but some were about to open but i remember the name, its SPINN. Make sure to check them out and you can thank me later 😉 We walked down towards the temple and found another super low cost shop with lots of cute stuff. They said they just opened six months ago and I was very lucky cos they were having sale for a week and I was there for almost the entire week. The name of the shop is 2nd street.✨ I actually found 2 more branches of this shop, 1 in Nishiki area near Nagoya TV tower and 1 in Higashiyama zoo area (Not exactly sure about the name of the street). When I checked online, it seems that they are all over Tokyo as well and prolly Osaka also. I actually purchased 3 super cute dresses and 1 top. Yehey🤗💖✨ Here is one of the dresses I bought. It was so hot so I decided to wear it right away. So happy cos its dirty white and so comfy, It fits me well. Look how beautiful my Background is. Dress for less.
